    I went to golf cart city on August 16, 2024. I was considering trading my Golf cart in and buying one of theirs. I explained I was having some trouble with my golf cart. I wasn't sure if the battery charger was working properly.
    He said, "bring it in and we'll test it for you." So I dropped it off and a few days later I went back to pick it up. He said, "that'll be $111.60! 1 was shocked at the price. I told him I could've bought a brand new one for $75. He said it was an hour labor at $107 per hour plus tax. I said don't you think you should've told me it was gonna be an hour labor to test it! I would have never dropped it off and had it tested had I known he was going to charge me that much money. When he didn't say how much it was going to be l thought maybe he was going to do it for free or there would be a minimal charge. He still has my charger and I still owe him $111.60

    If you come into somebody's place of business and expect them to perform a service for free, you must live in a different world then the rest of us. You know that you were told of the service charge. Also you failed  to mention that the police had to get involved & issue you a trespass warning for your indecent behavior & refusal to pay for services rendered. If you would like to see the video footage of your behavior that can be arranged.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
    This gentleman never said there would be a fee. I understand he may not be able to do it for free, but for a reasonable amount of money would’ve been fine. A good business owner might have said I can test your battery charger for you, but it will cost more than buying a brand new charger.. Had he said that I obviously would not have had a tested.
