1 starI had several firearms that were stolen by my local Sheriff's Department. Some time after, I get a letter from an out of state police agency wanting to return to me my stolen 9mm handgun they recovered during a search warrant. They also gave me the address where they recovered my gun. I email Peter M Vito & Associates asking if there would be any conflicts of interest in them investigating police stealing firearms, as the have retired law enforcement on their team. The reply no and want me to give them the details of what transpired. I tell them that one of my guns turned up at a residence and I would like them to get in contact with the person who was found illegally possessing my stolen handgun and see if they can trace it back to any particular officer. One of their team members tells me they will relay that info to Mr Vito and that they will be in touch. Just as I thought, never heard back from them. Ex law inforcement refusing to help a victim of police corruption in order to protect corrupt police! This speaks volumes about their character!

Our office was contacted via email on October 27, 2023. Within 30 minutes we responded to that email asking them to please contact our office. On Monday October 30, 2023, he contacted our office and spoke with Ms. Vito. She instructed him that she needed to consult with Pete Vito. On October 31, 2023, Mr. Vito responded that we did not have a conflict and we would need more information. On November 7, 2023, he responded with a rude email calling local, state and federal law enforcement “scumbags” and alleged that we too were complicit and as such were also “scumbags”. He threatened that he was going to send a negative review. He never retained our services, never paid for services and was never our client or customer.
