    We lived with them for a year and a half but had to leave due to inhospitable conditions. Roach infestation that they refused to send a real exterminator for. Drug addict neighbors engaging in highly dangerous behavior that they refused to evict because "they won't answer their phones". While we were still 3 days away from the final move-out date, the property manager called us demanding our keys be returned and threatened legal action. Wtf... Save yourself the headache.

    Worst landlord and rental experience in all my years!! TERRIBLE slumlords. I had a terrible experience with these scammers. And I found out one of my friends and one of my friends daughter did also! At least 3 bad experiences and that’s just what I know of!!! So i’m not the only one! Avoid these slums at all costs!!!!

    I have rented with Free Will for 2 years and they have been great! Any issues were addressed and resolved quickly and the work was well done. I have never had any issues with them. Management was respectful and attentive. I would definitely recommend Free Will!

    Rented with free will for over 3 years, never had any issues and they were responsive to requests made. Urgent issues were always solved the same day although they were very rare!

    I have been renting with Free Will since college for a total of 4 years back to back. It is good and they are hands off in the good way meaning they won't bother you like some landlords and property managers. But they will fix a problem if you properly report it. They are also willing to play ball if you're honest with them. For example, we were able to get the asking rent for a new apartment lowered because we were honest with what our budget was at the time.

    I’ve had two separate apartments with free will rentals over a span of 3-4 years. I’ve worked with Sarah who was able to find me an apartment quickly and made sure it was something that was best for my situation. They have been diligent in addressing any apartment concerns and their team is welcoming and friendly (personally Jim is the most friendly and awesome). They are flexible and understanding in times of need as well which has been important.
    The apartment I have is in a home that is remodeled but still has all the original hardwood and character to make it feel like a home. Also, my neighbors (5 other tenants) are also free will tenants and are now all people who I consider friends. Two of them have been here for over 2 years.
    I looked at several other businesses before choosing an apartment during my search and this was the best choice I made when I moved back to buffalo almost two years ago. I love my apartment and intend to keep it for a while- thanks for making me feel back at home!
