    Last July (2021) I received a mailer from Delaware River Solar saying that by signing up I'd save money on my electric bill. They now tell me I owe them $300, even though during that time I continued to pay my electric bill as usual. It's all buried deep within the fine print, and that's where my complain lies. They have deeply dishonest sales practices. Someone needs to be made aware of this. I now have to pay $300 for what? I can't see where a service was provided to me. I'd like them to cancel this because I didn't ever get anything out of this, so I shouldn't be paying them anything.

    We deeply regret ************' experience with community solar.

     

    When ****************** became a Delaware River Solar subscriber, he was assigned to a community solar farm that utilized a two-bill process. This billing process, which has since been retired for a more streamlined one-bill process, was not sufficiently explained to ************' satisfaction at the time of his subscription.

     

    In order to rectify the issue experienced by ******************, DRS corresponded promptly with ****************** upon hearing from him and cancelled his subscription in April of 2022 per his request.

     

    Further, any outstanding balance that ****************** held with DRS as a result of his DRS subscription has been forgiven and eliminated.

    I would like to file a complaint regarding Delaware River Solar company. I get electric supply from NYSEG, having not received a bill for the services provided to me in since May, 2022, I have contacted NYSEG and they advised that the bill has not generated yet, because it appears that I have signed up with Delaware River Solar to receive their services. I have never signed with any solar company, nor do I plan to sign in the future. I have contacted Delaware River Solar to no avail, and it appears that Delaware River Solar has fraudulently obtained my personal information and used it to sign me up for their services. I have contacted NYSEG again on July 26, 2022, and thy confirmed that the bill has not generated because Delaware River Solar still has me as a customer.

    Contrary to information that ********************* appears to have received from NYSEG, ********************** is not now and never has been a subscriber to Delaware River Solar. Nor has ********************** ever been billed by Delaware River Solar.

     

    We have communicated this information to ********************** and we have corresponded with NYSEG on ************************** behalf in order to make clear to them that she is not a Delaware River Solar subscriber and have asked them to rectify ******************' NYSEG billing issues.
