  Blurail was hired to back fill and install footing drain in Oct of 2024 as we had a large 10" deep trench around foundation . Work wasn't done until Dec 2024. As layman with no construction experience I wanted the hole filled in so no one would fall and get hurt . Because work was not done until Mid December we could not build on foundation. By spring we visited site and the foundation bowed in 4" with 10 foot cracks in multiple places and footing drain also moved. Engineering report indicated fault lied with Excavator backfilling before 1st layer was put on house for support also backfilling with large stone and claylike dirt in lieu stone and porous bank run to allow water to drain easily down to footing drain. Blurail only statement was I told them to backfill but provided no warning as an experienced excavator that backfilling should not be done until support was placed on home . Other excavators also advised backfilling is never done until support is provided for home but seems Blurail chose to collect money and not provide an advice or warning. Blurail did not offer to help solve the problem even after I offered to assist in some additional money.. They walked away from the problem and left me to fend for myself

  So ****** *****  , yes we did do the back filling as he explained, he did hire someone else to do the footer drain , he wanted us to do only 2' of #2 stone on top of the footer drain , then use the fill from on site , he did tell us that it has to be back fill right away so they can get the floor on , it was end of Nov. or beginning of Dec. I do not remember, the first floor could have easily been installed and it could have been frame in with the roof on , but who am I to say that since he says I have no experience, Sam and I both grew up in PA, did construction all our life , Dad is the owner of ******** ************ in Watsontown PA, if you want to look him up . If you want to do research on about us we do have a website , which if you google ********* ****** she does better advertising us that our website , she is into online stuff way more that we are , we did build her a Barndominium last spring , or you can try calling her ************ , tell her John from BluRail give you her number I don't think Sam or I told ****** not to do the back fill , as he was going to do the floor right away and we were not the G.C. of the project He did contact us this spring and asked us if we think he can build on the wall , we told him we can not say as he would have to get his engineer out to inspect it He did ask us if we would replace the wall for him , we said no , as we do not think we are responsible for what happened He did reply with , his attorney will be in touch , so we stopped contacting him and got our insurance and attorney on it , So that is who is working on it as of now Let us know if you have any questions to be answered Thank you John with BluRail Excavating
