      Car was not starting mechanic figured out it was computer when the temperature drops. After computer was sent out to be fixed and returned to me by G7 the computer was placed in vehicle by my mechanic and left outside in the cold under 30 degrees. A couple hours later I tried to start the vehicle and it did not start. Mechanic took the computer out of the vehicle warmed it up and the vehicle started no problem. I told G7 what the issue was with the cold computer and they told me it could be fixed. If the computer was not tested in cold weather the computer would come out with no issues. I specifically wrote that on the sheet and the computer is still not working. I am still waiting for a response for my email.

      THEY DIDNT TOUCH THE TCM AND RIPPED ME OFF 225$ WASTED MY TIME AND FOR WHAT???? I WOULD BE A VALUABLE CUSTOMER, I RUN A SHOP SO I COULD HAVE BROUGHT YOU MORE BUSINESS AND WHAT DO YOU DO,,, YOU SCREW ME!!!! SHAME ON YOU AND KARMA WILL FIND A BALANCE FOR YOUR CARELESSNESS AND JUST PLAIN OLD DISHONESTY THERE SHOULD BE AN OPTION FOR 0 STARS, AND DO NOT DARE SAY YOU FIXED THE TCM I HAVE PICTURES TIME DATED TO PROVE YOU DIDNT TOUCH IT, #1 BEFORE I SHIPPED IT TO YOUR COMPANY I TESTED THE MAIN CAPACITOR AND MARKED IT AND YOU DIDNT REPLACE IT, ALSO THIS UNIT MUST BE SEALED AND YOU ALSO DIDNT TOUCH IT . ALL I WANT IS A WORKING TCM IF YOU SEND ME A PREPAID UPS LABEL AND DO WHAT YOU WERE PAID TO DO I WILL REMOVE THIS REVIEW OTHERWISE REFUND MY MONEY !! (Don't be ashamed if you don't have the equipment to repair this unit!! But be very ashamed about how you have treated a customer!!)

      I wanted to give a follow up about my complaint with G7 Computers. After leaving my review they promptly got in touch with me and we now have an open dialogue. When I have a question they have been very punctual about getting back to me. And they are working with me to rectify the issues with my ECM. They have offered to look at it again so I will be sending it back. I am very happy with their offer as I couldn’t ask for anything more.

      On May 11,2022, I called G7 Computers to explain a problem I was having with the ECM from my 1988 Corvette, after 2 different GM mechanics came to the same conclusion. The person who I spoke with said they would look at it and then they sent me their Order Form For Service, which I filed out. On May 13, I sent them my ECM with the required paperwork with details of what the problem was, it would crank and pulse the injectors once, and I included a check for $225. About a week later I received my ECM back with no receipt or description of what was wrong with it. Scratch marks on the screws and case showed it was taken apart. I called G7 to find out about a receipt, because how can I have a warranty it I can’t show they worked on it, and I wanted to know what they found was wrong because it still has the first problem but now it doesn’t crank. Did they do something to affect the VATS (vehicle anti theft system)? I have called countless times, about 3 times a week for the first couple of weeks, I left messages, sent emails and I still call twice a week for the heck of it, just to see if they would pick up the phone, which they don’t. But they had no problems cashing my check on May 20, 2022. Needless to say, this is not very good customer service and as of right now I would never recommend this company to anyone else in the future, and a bad review seems to go farther than a good one sometimes. I have not been able to drive my car this summer. If something can be done, maybe a refund because I would not trust them to “fix” it again, if not I will definitely let anyone that I come across, how I was treated by this company, and I’m back to square one with trying to get my ECM fixed or replaced. Thank You with any help you can give me with this matter.

      Bad business do not use!!! Sent them my pcm only for them to send me back a pcm more damaged!!!! MY TRUCK HAS NOT RAN SINCE THIS BUSINESS "REPAIRED" MY PCM!!!!

      It was installed correctly by professional mechanic!!!! I even contacted your support people and did everything they said to do!!!! TRUCK HAS NOT EVER RAN WITH THE UNIT YOU SO CALLED "REPAIRED" !!!!! AND THE UNIT COULD NOT BE REPAIRED BY ANOTHER SHOP!!!!!! I sent in a working unit with a small problem but the truck ran, you sent me a unit the truck has NEVER ran since and can't be repaired!!!!!! My truck is not running because of you!!!!!!!!

      I sent 2 of my ECM's from a 2004 SAAB 9-3 ARC. They were not able to fix one of them. They were great at responding with customer service and fully refunded the one that couldn't be fixed. I will definitely use them again.
