    Our experience with Rochester General Contractors was horrible and gives honest contractors a bad name. My wife and I met with Bill P. (owner) in spring (FEB. 2024) to remodel shower only in cottage bathroom, agreed/signed contract, gave sizable deposit and Bill stated job only will take 3 days to complete. As of this review (End of June 2024 - 4 months later) he has done nothing but demo. We have made several communication attempts to get work started, but he has only delivered empty promises. Since it was a sizable deposit and only demo was done, we attempted to have him refund a portion and he has refused. He took our money and ran and left us with no shower. I would not recommend him, poor communication, excuses, lies, and interested in getting your money upfront so he can skip out on work. We now have to get small claims court involved on such a small project to recoup some of our financial loss.
