      Ganoe Tree Service lacks integrity and should you decide to move forward with them ensure your agreement is in writing at the time of negotiation to avoid my experience.
      During my initial meeting with Stephanie to discuss the work, we agreed verbally on a price. This price was confirmed several times during negotiations; however, one week later when I went to pay for the work the price changed. At that time I was informed by Stephanie that the cost was $100 more than what was agreed during the negotiations. To support her ‘case’ Stephanie referred to a binder that she had captured a cost: however, that binder was never present during our meeting and did not reflect what we agreed. The cost information appears to have been entered at a later time after our meeting, yet Stephanie stood by it as though it was ‘our’ written agreement. Stephanie was visibly frustrated by my position that the price we agreed was not what she had captured in her binder. I ultimately paid the additional $100 as I am a good person and when I see people that upset especially over money I will do what is needed to help them even if they will not acknowledge the possibility that they made an error.
      The bottom line is that the $100 was more important to Stephanie than the integrity of her verbal agreement, the relationship with her customer and any future business or referrals.
