    On August 25, 2023 we contracted with Relyea's Towing in Candor NY to move a fifth-wheel camper from Pine City NY to our home in Spencer NY. Things were ok until the tow driver attempted to park the camper in the appropriate spot. They missed the mark by about 4 feet and got the camper and themselves stuck in the mud. The driver called another tow truck to come pull him out. He left our camper stuck and huge ruts in my lawn on both sides of my driveway. We were told that both would be taken care of, but there has been no resolution as of today.

    On Wednesday, August 30, 2023, Relyea's committed, by text, to coming out to take care of the issues on Sunday, September 3, 2023. We then never heard another word from them despite multiple phone calls and texts. On Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2023, I called the main office number and was told by office worker Stacy (sp?) that they would get back to me about when the camper could be moved and the lawn repaired. I explained to them that it was imperative that this be done before it started raining again.

    Due to the threat of heavy rain yesterday, September 7, 2023, we contracted with another person to move the camper over. It cost us $100 and took the driver all of 5 minutes to complete the job. Our lawn remains ruined and Relyea's has stopped taking my calls as of yesterday, September 7, 2023. They have not called me back to resolve this and continue to avoid my calls. I know this because on Wednesday I called from my number and did not get an answer, then called from another number and they picked up the phone.

    I am asking for a refund of the amount paid to recoup the $100 we spent to hire another tow driver to move the camper, and the $150 we will need to spend to repair our lawn.
