  I’m giving 2 stars because they performed the ceremony well, even though the mothers were walked down to “Here Comes the Bride”. It was an unplugged ceremony and there was a person standing in the aisle with their cellphone taking pictures and my photographer had to tell her to move. I hired them as DJs not photographers. There were also phone notifications playing as well. From then on it was issue after issue. They were not aware of how much amperage their equipment took and power was an issue even though the originally told us it would not be. The equipment was complete over kill and was not necessary and require way more power then they said. We filled out the forms from their website and they were not using the information that was provided. The first dance song was just cut and not faded out as well as the father/daughter and mother/son. As far as the music goes they were given 3 Spotify playlists that would have filled all the time at the reception and they played at most 4 songs from those lists. None of our requests were played and if something was played it was a weird techno rendition. We talked to them about the music multiple times and nothing changed. They were asked to leave at 9. They packed up quickly, that’s a plus I guess.

  In my 30+ years of doing this I have never received a bad review. In the line of the power issues we had though out the reception, they were no fault of mine. I went to school for electrical and electronics and work as a biomed repairing and inspecting medical equipment and fixing x-ray equipment. I know exactly how much my equipment takes for amperage. I tell everyone 20 amps because I run a 20amp conditioner on my system and have never tripped the 20 amp breaker. The power issues were very frustrating to the bride and groom and me as well. I did offer to hook up a smaller system to get though the reception. In line of the music I played all music off the Spotify lists the couple gave me and off there must plays, other then requests that the couple said that they would allow. I did load up a techno version of jump around by accident with all the confusion and quickly mixed out into the original version when I noticed I loaded the wrong version. After going back though the lists I counted 6 requested must play songs that I played with in the hour I was allowed to play. I did have Denise standing in the area to cue me when they started to come down the aisle I had her off to the side as much as possible and no pictures were taken by us at the reception. I apricate any review I receive even if it is a bad one so I can improve in what I do. I will take this review as a learning experience.
