      We hired *** of ************* HVAC to install a new HVAC system in our home. He seemed very knowledgeable about his work and could start within the window we were looking for with completion guaranteed within 2-3 days. The job started on schedule on 10.25.22. Then as they were getting started his assistant cut a hole in the wrong part of our kitchen ceiling, leaving a large circular hole that pulled the sheet rock down preventing a nearby cabinet from opening properly. *** assured us that it would be fixed and he would use the hole for the return, which was initially planned to be in an inconspicuous area of the house but it would be fine. We weren't thrilled, but we believed him.He had to pause the work as we waited for *************** to put in the necessary wiring, he continued to give us ***** about how long the electrician was taking to finish (2.5 weeks because he contracted Covid-19 and was very ill) and said once *************** was done, he was ready to complete our work and it would be a priority. Electrical work was completed on 11.10.22. After many calls to schedule him to finish, he returned once to install a new thermostat and get our heat going but said the company he ordered the condenser from sent the wrong one and the job couldn't be finished yet (he previously confirmed he had the correct condenser and just needed a truck to get it here).It is now 12/14/22. He occasionally responds to my spouse with a rude tone about how other jobs are more important and that it'll get it done but doesn't offer appointment times or ranges of availability. We have contacted the electrician who recommended him, we have called and left multiple voice messages, we've sent many texts and are left with an unfinished HVAC system and a large hole in the kitchen ceiling.We are frustrated, we feel disrespected and bamboozled, and out $9,000 for something that isn't completed and has no completion date.In other words, we've been screwed.
