I have had solar panels for the last 7 years . They are currently not working making my electric bill sky rocket . We contacted the owner of the company who wants 350 dollars to come in and access the situation. We didnt want to pay without actually having an explanation of what we are being charged for and if anything will fix this situation . Now they want 1300 dollars to replace an inverter but they can not tell me what the problem is. There is also a 10 year warranty on the solar panels but they said they went out of business. Who has been monitoring my solar panels ? I just want an explanation to why and how it will be fixed and what I am paying money for .

The reason for my complaint is that I had solar panels installed in 2016, and they worked for a few years but for some reason, for a little over a year, they stopped producing electricity. I reached out to Grid City, the installer, and they have been giving me a run around saying that I have to pay for someone to come here and detect what is wrong with the solar panels. I know that the solar panels have a 25 year warranty, and I also know that they will send new equipment if there is something that is not working. Whether it be the converter or some panels. The only thing I need is for them to come and check it out, and they refuse to do so. I talked to them a few times already and on email, and they want to charge me $550 just to send someone to my home. Hopefully you can help me with this matter. I would really appreciate it. Thank you. -***********************
