Every year they are late installing our awning and the price to do it, take it down and store it is outrageous. We have started requesting earlier installation in hopes it will happen when we really want the awning installed, Even that doesn’t work. Their service sucks! We would not use Kohler again when it’s time for a new awning, They have such a great name but their reputation has become horrible. One of their excuses is not enough help. One would think maybe prepare far in advance for enough workers, I wonder how they treat them and if they pay them enough. They sure have no problem over charging us for their so called service.

Terrible customer service people who answer the phone, and then when I spoke to my salesman AFTER I purchased the awning, he was not any better, so I’m not surprised anymore at the low level of their reviews.
A company culture starts with management. If KA had a serious competitor in this market they’d be bankrupt.

Zero stars from me. Terrible workmanship. My mother in law had Kohler install a 6’ awning over her side door entrance. First heavy snowfall it came tumbling down. The awning itself was rather flimsy, it was attached to the house with 16 fasteners, being lag and toggle bolts, which would have been fine except only ONE lag bolt was actually in a stud! The rest were only in the vinyl siding and a gypsum type material and pulled out rather easily. We called Kohler and explained the situation to them and asked them to come out and look at the damage, to which they refused and told us without seeing it that it’s not their problem it was properly installed and to call your insurance company. We had an estimate of $2,500 to repair the siding and other damage. Worst part is a 90 yr. old women is out a $1,000 deductible for the repair. I would have liked her to pursue it further but health issues kept her from it. In closing I would like to say come on Kohler do the right thing by this woman instead of taking advantage of an elderly woman.
