      Hired owner Jim N*** to fix squeaky gas dryer. He came and replaced parts with generic parts that do not fit right that he had. Not ordered. Dryer ran even louder banging and squealing. Mr N*** said that's ok and it will go down in noise eventually demanding payment. I am female home alone and felt intimidated and paid him. Dryer is worse than when i called him just fir the squeak. He made it way worse .couldn't fix it right, offered no guarantee or refund even Partially and left me with broken Dryer. Ignored my messages. Very unprofessional and not a good service man. At least take parts back and refund some money. I would never hire him again

      I hired Jim N*** the owner to diagnose the problem with my garage door opener that was no longer working. I trusted him and left him in my garage alone to diagnose the issue on 7/05/22. When I went outside shortly after he had pretended to be repairing a loose wire on one of the "eyes" near the floor and said it was fixed. He was at my residence a total of 20 minutes if even that long. He charged me an $85 service fee which I gave cash and received no invoice or receipt. When the opener did not work again later the same day, I called him. He then seemed angry asking if I bumped the wires or the eye unit which I did not, I merely was trying to close the door and leave my house. Instead of returning to diagnose properly, he told me to get on a ladder and inspect the unit myself. I sent him pictures as I had no idea what wild goose chase he seemed to have me on. He then texted I needed a new garage door opener installed for $600-700. I decided to get another opinion as I did not care for his rude attitude and unprofessional manner. When it was properly inspected by someone else, a $20 actuator part was all that was needed. This person also said Jim N*** did not get on a ladder and inspect the opener at all, he could see it was untouched (dust, etc) and he would have seen that broken part. I let Jim know this and gave him time to rectify as i felt my $85 should be refunded as a proper and honest service call was not even done. He has ignored my request. He is a scam artist trying to just take advantage of people. He is doing work off the books and has had several failed businesses. I wish I had this information before as I would not have hired him. I've been told there are many complaints about his work, or lack of. I wanted this documented to warn others as well.
