    A contract was formed for work to be done on our bathroom. H&S contractors were hired to perform the job and completed most of it, however prior to completing damaged the new bathtub. We had agreed upon getting the bathtub patched through a company he had hired, and if the job was not done correctly, he would replace the tub but the job was not satisfactory. He also did not install shelving units as outlined in the contract. When we had contacted him to inquire about completing the job, we received no response. We have reached out several times via voicemail and text and still have no response. We sent a text message with our intent to seek legal assistance as well.

    Response taken by phone:  I did the job in August.  I hired a company to address the chip in the tub and the first company did a horrible job.  I hired a second company and they sent me pictures when the job was done.  it looked acceptable to me.  The shelving was not part of the original scope of the work and I did additional plumbing work at no additional labor costs. I have since closed my business.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The tub repair was not acceptable, as it still does not match. We attempted to contact the business to discuss what could be done to further rectify the situation with no response from the business. We had reached out via text message as well as phone call. There was also a verbal agreement to finish the tile on the shower with quarter round and clean up the grout finish a few patches that were left unfinished. The job was not completed as per the contract. The shelving was discussed verbally and was to be done when he came back to finish the work. Regards, ***** *******
