    This company doesn't keep their word and took $980 from me! Prior to ordering a quartz slab, I specifically asked if I could get my deposit back if I didn't want the slab when it came in (it's difficult to see what a full slab will look like by just a small sample). I was told yes but would have to have their team come out to measure before they ordered it. They came and measured, ordered the slab and when it came in, I decided I didn't want it. Sam said no worries, we can easily send it back with the account rep who was on-site. I fully expected the measuring cost to be deducted from the deposit. What I didn't expect, and was never told, was that Italian Marble would charge me a $980 restocking fee. The company where the slab was ordered from does not charge a restocking fee - I called them to verify this. I also called around to other fabricators asking if they charge this fee and was told NO by all of them. Italian Marble kept the measurement fee (I absolutely agree with this) AND the $980 restocking fee from my refund check (once again, this was never mentioned when I specifically asked about a deposit refund prior to ordering). Apparently, this is how Italian Marble & Granite Inc underhandedly makes some of their profits. Stay far away from this company.
