  I hired Carl to take over my grandmother's estate case for me. I hired him to handle what I no longer could due to my physical health deteriorating. Before signing him on, he quoted me $5,000 for his retainer to get started. Then came time for the retainer paperwork. All the sudden his retainer went from $5,000 to $7,500. When I asked him why it changed he had not even remembered quoting me the $5,000 so he agreed to take the $5,000 to get started. That should of been my first red flag. I had a stroke in April 2022 & heart failure in 2023. At one point I had just been released from the hospital & he said to me "I can't work with someone who is always sick & always in the hospital". I can't even describe how awful that made me feel. He said that knowing that was the reason I hired him, I could no longer do it myself. He also made other comments saying things like "Are you seriously terminally ill?" No matter how much money, how many times I was proven correct, or how many medical records I showed him, he NEVER believed anything I said. Carl would legitimately forget about almost every aspect of my grandmother's estate case. I was having to go through every detail every single time we spoke, making our phone calls long & expensive. When I would say something about keeping our calls short he would talk down to me saying things like "are you sure you can even afford this"? After I'd already paid him THOUSANDS & THOUSANDS of dollars over our time working together. There were countless times he refused to inform the judge about what was going on with my case. He convinced me to let him take on my mother's estate case too. He botched both cases, cost me my time, my health & my money. Carl convinced me to keep the judge on that opposing counsels attorney hired from the JUDGES WIFES LAWFIRM. Carl YOU made every single part of my mother & grandmother dying so much worse than it ever needed to be.

  I contacted Carl H********** with short notice for preparing my tax return on time. I was relieved when he said that he could file my returns on time and kept his promise. He is very knowledgeable and has been preparing tax returns for a long time. He was very professional and I would recommend him to anyone who would need his services.
