      Hired for lawn services summer 2023. Paid 66% up front on April 27. Have signed contract with expected services and dates. Owner showed up 4 times in the first 9 weeks. Owner rarely responds to communications and when he does is non-apologetic, promises to show, and then with no further communication, does not show.

      BBB spoke to John at the business and the following was relayed: The customer paid one month in advance, he did not pay for the season. I did show up but the customer and his wife were not happy how the lawn was being cut and looked and he cancelled all services. There was no money owed on either end.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.  Hello. I have the written receipt that I have attached showing service was for April 27 - October 15. There were many complaints against this business on ********. He is dishonest and a bad actor. I have all details with dates and times at home and can forward when I get home next week. Basically he showed up a couple of times, promised to show up other times and after my repeated contacts showed up a couple more times but never when he said he would (off by days not hours). He simply stopped responding to my calls and my texts.   Regards,  ***** *****

      BBB spoke to John at the business and the following was relayed: The customer had a very large yard and is the one who broke the contract. I am willing to refund the customer $150 and can do so by ***** or another method if agreeable.
