    **** seemed to be a real good guy at the first meeting, he was polite and professional, he gave a good price for a well presented product . During this time I discussed my concerns about the current windows and lack of insulation, I was assured the new windows would be "professional installed" and well insulated. we ordered a ttl of 13 windows and waited about 7 weeks for the call. when **** called and said the windows were in and he could install the next day I was hesitant as I could not be there that day, but agreed as a family member would be there. On returning home a few days later, I saw the 1st floor windows had a LOT of new trim ( like 2"side to side and 1.5 in top to btm.)I did not think to much of it not being a tradesman (or handy) . a few months later some trim fell off exposing the old window frame that had been partly cut out leaving most of the old frame in place with no insulation and only 2 screws and calk holding the window in . The 5, 1st floor windows are all the same with the same installation . ( 1st 2 photos show the empty space next to the window that has free airflow to the outside) the 8 2nd floor windows as I later found out also have no insulation around them and were only partly calked leaving 1/4 to 1/2 open to the outside gaps around the windows . only 2 of the 2nd floor windows were installed square (gaps in the sides of the windows shown in the rest of the pictures) the gaps leak so bad the New Professionally installed windows move the black-out curtains that I now have to keep closed to keep the house warm . I have called **** since the trim fell off back in November ( the trim was stapled to the empty spaces so the staples were not holding into anything). He said after telling me there was NO WAY his guys left the old window frames in place as this is not an acceptable practice ( again pic 1 and 2 ) he would have his guy come out and see what was going on . I have called 2 more times and emailed, with no response. I now have a local contractor who has given me a estimate to pull all windows out and reinstall the 2nd floor windows CORRECTLY and replace the st floor windows .
