    Workmanship on work performed was shotty. Add'l damage had occurred within weeks of completion. Work completed & paid in full 8/21. Contractor immediately notified of add'l damage came & looked at it on 9/4/21 indicated he knew exactly what problem was thought what he did would correct it however he would come back on 9/7/21 to fix. Never showed tried contacting roofer phone & text throughout the year to no avail. Evidence he read latest text in yr '22 but still did not follow up. In '23 cell phone # for contractor was disconnected. Also had insurance co. confirm damage was not weather related, & had another contractor look at indicating shingles lifted. Another attempt was made to the office calling from a different phone # in Feb '24, person who answered said Jim wasn't in (this was Joe) but it sure sounded like Jim explained situation & was informed Jim wasn't available but would be back on tues. Tried 6 add'l times to contact him each time got excuse after excuse. One call we told said person Joe we need to replace & redo ceilings & unable to do so until roof corrected. Person agreed"oh no don't paint till we can come take a look." At one point in March Jim (sounded same as Joe) called on my sisters # that we began calling from which he initially didn't recall the address job until my name was mentioned. That clicked with him, Jim then said he had a job in Auburn would call back in 2 hrs. Never did.Continued calling till mid April this year. Nothing, I started small claims processing, but decided to hire an inspector to get a better idea of cost from damage. Inspector report was very detailed& revealed entire roof needed replacement & mold has set in. After reviewing inspector report I sought proposals from 2 reputable roofers & sought legal counsel. Lawyer sent a demand letter requesting response in 10 days, no response indicated next step would be to sue in court.I am not pursing further as expense is to great incurring costs to fix roof damage is nearing 15k!
