    I few years ago I asked J C Discount Fuel if they would recommend someone to install a new boiler. The boiler works great and I’m having no problems with it. To be clear J C Discount Fuel was not involved in the purchase of the boiler. Moving into the fall of 2024 I asked J C Discount Fuel to service and provide me with a contract in case I had any issues this winter. To my astonishment they refused to contract my boiler because they say it was installed incorrectly by the plumber they recommended. They would not service or contract the boiler until I resolved the issue they claim exists. Hmmmm.
    I easily had large oil company inspect , clean, and contract the system. No mention of any issues with the system. None at all.

    I've been using **** Discount Fuel for many years. On Saturday, morning my basement had quite a bit of water in it. The burner was leaking water from a nozzle in the back. The technician came fairly quickly and replaced the pressure valve charged me $88 and left. After about an hour the same thing happened. Water leaking out of pressure valve. Called **** Discount and the technician called me back. When I told him it was leaking again, said it wasn't when he left. Well it is leaking now. Came back again, bled the pipes. When he left it wasn't leaking. Put burner on and leak started again. Called **** Discount Sunday morning and was told the technician would be here shortly. The tech showed up 5 hours later with a woman in the company truck. Said I now needed a coil. The parts stores are closed and would have to wait until tomorrow Monday. Showed the tech a store that was open and he said it would be repaired tomorrow. In the meantime its 30 degrees outside I've been without heat and ************* for 2 days. The cost of the repair now is another $1000. I will be writing a letter of complaint to the company. My neighbor has had problems with the technicians also. Came three times saying it was a loose wire when it was the electrical box. The two technicians we used were the same. Uncaring and arrogant. I wouldn't recommend them now. Very unprofessional.

    We have been servicing you for many years and I am sorry the account of events are not being told correctly. The 1st service tech showed up promptly and did the 1st step in diagnosing the problem.The next morning which was Sunday you called emergency service where you were called back right away and a tech showed up within 4 hrs he told you it was the coil and you needed a plumber because we do not change that intricate part we called a plumber in front of you and the plumber showed up the next morning by 8 AM by that time the parts house was open to get the part and while you were writing this review the part was being replaced I am not sure how the service could have been any better.Also, FYI the tech that came on Sunday was the owner and the woman was his wife and your neighbor across the street who is a great customer as well for many many years came out also just to say Happy New Year I hope in the future you give the courtesy to call the office to go over the coarse of events so next your report will be more accurate. Thank you
