This *** ran an estate sale on 6/23 & 6/24/23 w/assurances that all sales from the estate sale are recorded in a ledger so that the ledger balance matches the cash that is given to you following the completion of the sales. A separate ledger was requested for the sale of items from our closed shop. On 6/25, I received an email stating the final total was $3,552 (Fri. sales of $2,850 & Sat. sales of $702). Sales from our closed shop - $401. We received $2486.40 ($3,552 30% = $2,486.40). A copy of the ledgers was requested. We received: 1.) 6 ledgers (notepaper 3 x 5 ) dated June 23, 2023; 1 undated page on the back of a page. Sales for 6/23/23 totaled $3515 - some items had no sold price. There was no ledger dated 6/24/23 but we were told sales were $702. It appears we are owed $490.70 for that date. 2. There is 1 ledger from the shop totaling $251. We were told items sold totaled $401. What else was sold? And only $251 was added to the grand total for 6/23- it seems we are owed 70% ($105) from the additional $150 collected. 3. Items no longer in the house were not on the ledgers (2 large mirrors, lawn statues, milk box, 2 clothing racks, vintage pots, blanket rack, vacuum w/attachments, 2 heavy duty extension cords, vintage wrought iron patio set (2 chairs/2 end tables/coffee table), 2 mink coats), adaptive devices, about 150 CDs, 100 VCR tapes, Glass dining table w/4 ******* ******** candy dish- minimum est. value-$1000 for all entitling us to $700). On 7/17, I sent an email requesting an explanation re discrepancies, missing amounts & the missing ledger. He responded: Im no longer accepting email communications from you". When I sent a text, he responded: Im blocking your texts as well." Many items are not accounted for, the 6/24 ledger is missing, & there are discrepancies with what we were told we sold and what the ledger indicates. I am requesting an explanation & the additional money that appears to be owed to us ($1295.00).
