Please view the supporting documents that I attached to get the full details of my experience with this company and to view our contract. Below is a short summarization:Over last summer and fall, my husband, *****************, and I got multiple estimates for reinsulating our home. We decided to go with *** ***************************** because they were the only company that included fixing the hole that they would have to create to cut into our ceiling to get into the peak of our house to apply spray foam insulation. In our contract it states that "we will cut an access into the peak above the landing in front of the stairs as discussed at the time of and install a 2' by 2' upward opening fire rated ceiling tile with framing and trim will be installed after the insulation is complete."Friday, November 11th= installation date - they damaged my wallpaper, fell through tiles in a bedroom and left the hole in our ceiling Monday, December 5th= they sent a friend of someone who works for the company to "complete the job and fix the damages" (which was not done properly and not what we agreed to in our contract)Wednesday, December 14th= nasty phone call received from *********************** of *** ***************************** threatening to send us to collections on a unfinished job with additional damages This job was supposed to be a one-day job, and at this point we have gone over 70 days and also through our whole entire holiday season: Thanksgiving, Christmas **** ********** and New Years with this job unfinished and with damages. We refuse to pay full price for an incomplete job and damages that haven't been addressed at all. We are not interested in having this company complete the job, we would just like a new contract with a reduction of our costs for the incomplete job, damages, and inconvenience of all this.
