December 13th, 2023 around 10a.m. I went to the Laundo Lux Laundromat. They have a digital card system. When purchasing a new card there are signs on all the machines stating to get an attendant to purchase a new card. An attendant ,*******, approached me and started the process. It's a $1.50 to purchase a new card to load money onto. I gave her $20 to purchase a new card and put the remaining $18.50 onto the card. The attendant/employee mishandled the process and was unable to put money on the new card that had been dispensed by the machine. So the machine took my $20 and distributed a card with no money credited to it. They then filled out a piece of paper and faxed the issue to whom ever is in charge of refunds. The attendant used a "in house" card to start my laundry. Laundry is $3.00 a load and I did three loads, totalling $9.00. About thirty minutes later they checked my card and nothing had been credited back. They then stated the money was probably credited back to the "house/their" card. I proceeded to put my clothes into the dryers. Each dryer is $.25 for 6min. I used 3 dryers and a $1.75 per dryer, totalling $5.25.In totally $1.50 for a new card, $9.00 to wash 3 loads, and $5.25 to dry 3 loads, which equals a grand total of $15.75. This should leave me with a balance of $4.25. The attendant ***** proceeded to tell me they only owe me $2.75. (This is after her second fax sent to explain the money was never credited back.) I told her the math was incorrect and attempted to break it down bit by bit to show the correct amount. The attendant ***** got very flustered and attempted to correct my math with an incorrect amount. The whole experience was issue after issue with no clear conclusion on how or when I was going to be credited with the amount owed to me. Attendants talked in circles and blamed the owner and the woman in charge of crediting my card. Went back two hours later and was able to get a refund of $5.75 for the card plus balance due.
