    *****, owner of Turf Pros, was hired in September of 2022 to put down turf in my yard. I gave him a personal check for $2250 and he stated he would get the job started in 3 weeks from the date of down payment. After communicating for a few weeks he then ghosted us. Took our money and never did the job. He was referred by ************* and I immediately reached out and they have since suspended him from their site. He finally reached out to me after multiple texts, calls and emails stating that he used out money for his own personal expenses and will try to take money out of his 401K in mid December to do the job. That did not happen!! I called and texted over and over and then he finally got back to me again stating he doesn't have the money and will not be able to do the job. I need my money back!!!! I wish I had checked this site before hiring him as there was another complaint from someone about him in August, a month before I hired him. Can someone help me get my money back?

    I gave a deposit to the owner ************************* on June 11 for ****. Fast forward to July 6th and I asked when we were starting . Text response was out putting green just for released and our trucking company is behind schedule I will know more next week . Never got a text before that. I patiently waited a week no text so I texted again to which I got the message which I have all saved , I will call the distributor . No text again. I text again two days later to which I get a response the turf was released . Another week goes by I hear nothing . I text again ur turf is being held up at trucking company . I requested a refund because now this is ridiculous no communication just take my money . I get a text back after refund request saying I see ur refund request to which I dont get one. I patiently wait another week or so and text again ummm I sent refund request on Venmo 100x . Response Im working on it on august 1. I ask again a few days later , I am told i overextended myself I may have to pay 600 at a time on august 4. Its august 11 and I have heard nothing and received no money back . So this man just took my **** and used it for himself .
