In July of 2022 I hired ******** to clear out my SoHo *** 3 bedroom 3 bath luxury loft and sell all furnishings and accessories. I paid ********'s moving company the agreed upon flat fee of $5,500 plus $75/hour for ********'s time. We agreed upon a 50% commission split for all sold items. After 6 months of selling my hardly-used luxury home goods, I have only received $3,939.55 from ********. I highly suspect she has been untruthful about the sales prices. For example, she claims she sold my pool table worth $25k+ in excellent condition for $200. When she was unable to sell my ****** ** dining table worth $50k+ she threatened to keep it to pay her own expenses. After my lawyer served her with a letter she finally let us pick up my table. After she was unable to sell my primary bedroom live wood headboard (worth 10k+ in excellent condition) I finally agreed that she could donate it. I've now spent over 3 months calling and emailing ******** asking for the donation receipt for my 2022 taxes, but she has still never produced it. ******** is involved in very shady business practices and I wouldn't be surprised if she sold it and pocketed the money. She needs to be stopped in taking advantage of people and making excuses for her own incompetence.
