    6/11/2022 date of work (that is the date written down on the receipt). Total cost 3,218.40$. Work included to grind and repoint the chimney from the roof line up. This business failed to grind and repoint the chimney under the flashing above the roof line. Payment was made in full. Have attempted to have the contractor come out and complete the work. I called and set up an appointment three times. Each time Tim D**** (business owner/contractor) chose the time and date and specifically noted that he had the appointment written into his calendar. Each time I took off of work to remain at home. Tim did not show up nor call to cancel any of the scheduled appointments. He assured me that if he could not make it, he would call and let me know. This morning was the third time he canceled. When I called him this morning he said he was up in ******** *** and he did not have it written on his calendar.
    For the work that was done on our chimney, the area was left a mess. A LOT of grout was left in piles on our roof. We cleaned up the roof because the grout would have washed down into our gutters and the weight of the grout (extremely heavy) would have ripped the gutters of the roof and/or cemented into the gutters and blocked drainage.
    Please help me. This business charged me for work they did not complete.

    The owner called BBB and said that the work was done about a year ago. The consumer wanted the flashing removed, but this was not part of the estimate or of the contract.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The work was contracted in 2022, not a year ago, and the work was to repoint the chimeny from the roof line up. This work was not done.
