    Had blacktop driveway resealed. It appears that the company used a defective sealant, as my driveway is now multiple shades of black, which is not the expected outcome. I was told by the company that the ******* needed to dry. However, after more than two weeks the multiple shading is still visible. ******* *********, did not respond to my compliant after repeated requests by me to resolve the issue.

At Blacktop Unlimited Incorporated, we strive for excellence in every driveway sealing project, and we’re disappointed by the review from *** ******** regarding the work completed on August 20, 2024, at his property, ** ********* ******* ********* 


    For transparency, we’d like to share the full story. Our team sealed *** ********’s driveway using Velvetop’s premium sealer, applied with wood brushes for the thickest, most durable coat—the industry’s best application method. That day, the driveway was partially shaded by the house, with one half in direct sunlight and the other in cooler shade. This common environmental factor can cause slight variations in drying appearance initially, which typically blend within a couple of weeks. When *** called our office at 2:40 p.m. that same day, noting a perceived color difference, we explained this natural curing process and advised giving it time.Just three days later, on August 23, *** contacted us again, still concerned. We reiterated that the driveway needed a few weeks to cure fully. On September 6, *** texted once more, claiming discoloration and threatening negative reviews with Consumer Affairs, despite the driveway still being within the expected curing period. To go above and beyond for ***, we sent our team back on September 17 to reseal the entire driveway at no additional cost—a significant service provided free of charge. After this, we heard nothing further from ***, leading us to believe the issue was resolved. We understand *** was selling his home and wanted everything perfect, but the slight shade variation was due to uncontrollable environmental factors, not our workmanship or materials. 


    We use only top-tier Velvetop sealer and the best application techniques, and we stand by our work, as shown by our willingness to reseal ***’s driveway at no cost. It’s disheartening to receive a negative review despite these efforts.We invite customers to trust in our proven track record and dedication, even in challenging situations.
