If I could give a minus star I would. Customer service is horrible. My father is a 100% disabled Vietnam Veteran dealing with late stage dementia. We were having a product delivered from United Mobility through the VA. They claimed they had left a voicemail that they would be delivering that day. I had no record of any voicemail. I only knew they were coming because of a text message that they were on their way. I called to explain this and that no one was there to receive it and to reschedule the delivery. The scheduling rep became very rude because we were not available eventhough no one confirmed we would be there. And when I tried to schedule for a time when someone would be available a few days later she responded that the VA required they deliver within a certain timeframe of ordering. I confirmed with the VA afterwards that they did not have a required time to deliver this item. So not only was this incorrect but the rep became extremely rude when I could not accommodate a delivery in 20 minutes or the next business day. I explained our situation and that my father has dementia and that we have to plan for deliveries or appts because of this and that I need to be available as well. Should I even have to explain this!! Overall there was no consideration or caring for our situation, it was simply about delivering ASAP on their schedule. I explained to the rep that most of the VA families they deal with probably have similar situations that make things a little more difficult, there was zero compassion, just indifference and rudeness, like I was inconveniancing them. I really hope other customers are not treated this way and that it was an isolated incident. As caregivers we have way too much on our plates to be dealing with this type of attitude for a delivery that accomodates end of life care. Shame on them for their lack of awareness, compassion and caring! I have also alerted the VA about the interaction so hopefully this doesn't happen again.
