    General Contractor: Kuhns Construction in Edwards, NY.
    Contract for roof replacement signed on 1/19/2024. Payment made in full on 01/25/2024. Materials delivered 01/27/2024. One day of work completed on 02/03/2024. Materials to be disposed of were left unsecured in various locations on property. No communication as to return date from contractor at that time. A verbal estimate was given that this would be “a three day job,” but no timeline for completion. Attempted to contact contractor on 02/04/2024 about rotted materials not being removed before new plywood installed, no response. Sub contractor arrived later that day to tarp unfinished portion of roof and stated “Justin (contractor) was aware of problem and it would be remedied. After follow up, contractor to return on 02/11/2024. Contractor did not return on this date. Contract states that contractor will work on regular business days but has only been working on weekends. As of 02/12/2024 at 10 am I have been unable to reach the contractor by phone receiving an automated message that “this user is not accepting calls at this time.” Attempted to reach subcontractor (** ******* ** ******* *** and was unable.

    I paid Mr. Kuhn 75% of the estimated fees up front for renovations to my bathroom. He started the project then left. It has been 3 weeks and his phone is not accepting calls and he does not return texts or emails.
