I commute to Syracuse every morning 7 days a week from my hometown Auburn,NY. I am a long time customer of said store especially in the last year everyday I spend anywhere from $40 up to $100 and I get the same few items which are gas, milk, coffee, and every morning I get a dozen of the ****** doughnuts. Now I literally spend $70 a week on just the dozen of doughnuts alone. About 5 or 6 months ago the manager as he was ringing me out he accused me of getting extra doughnuts and not paying for them. I was mortified I was so embarrassed I've never shoplifted a day in my life I said open this box and count them and low and behold 12 and I even went as far as making him charge me for 2 dozen that day and I've had no problems with him until 4 days ago and it's that same manager my Co worker and myself go in the front door and immediately he comes right up to us smirking I actually just kinda thought odd and smiled but then he began to say " I went back this weekend and watched the cameras and you are doing it again I counted how many doughnuts you put in your box and then only say you have a dozen, " I felt my face get hot I started to cry now I don't know what's the reason why this guy targeted me. I am a daily customer I've actually been going to Byrne Dairy stores my whole life I absolutely pay for every item I get. On top of it all my coworker brought this little fact up now when I grab doughnuts I use the sheets of parchment paper and I will grab between 1 and 3 at a time but there always under a white paper not to mention my coworker stands right next to me picking the ones he wants and there's no way possible that he can get an accurate count then there's another little bit of info he forgot I have so many of my receipts and on some of them I am charged a dozen PLUS 2 ADDITIONAL or 3 ADDITIONAL AND 2 BROWNIES. I just don't understand why I am being treated like this and I have spent around $400/month for about 14 months and now I'm kicked out over bogus alligations

BBB spoke to the Store Manager and the following was relayed: I, the manager, caught her stealing and asked her to open her box to see how many were in there.  She paid for a dozen donuts and had 14 donuts and 2 brownies in her box.  That is stealing.  Also, after reviewing our cameras, we saw her stealing as well.  When I caught her with the 14 donuts and 2 brownies when she only paid for 12 donuts, she paid for another dozen donuts to not get kicked out.  Then she was good for a couple weeks. But then I, our employees and our cameras caught her stealing AGAIN.  She would hold the donut boxes in her arms like a baby so that we could not see what was inside or weigh them when checking her out.  But regardless, our cameras caught her stealing again.  As a result, my boss instructed me to ask her to not return to our store.  She is not welcome here.  As a business we have the right to refuse service at our discretion and because of her stealing, more than once, we are asking that she not return to our store.   Thank you.
