    My experience with Jason, with J and J Speed Shop in Elma, NY started back in April 2022, when I located his shop on your website. I reached out to him to see if he was able to do the work on my car. He advised he could and came and picked up the down payment for the work within a few days of contacting him. I paid him $7,000 upfront as the down payment. He advised me he would order the procharger which could take 6-8 weeks to come in, but that he would work on my car as soon as it came in. In June 2022, I kept emailing him and texting him to check on the status of when he was going to bring my car in to work on. He said he was just finishing up a car and that mine would be next. June and July came and went and still no word from Jason on when my car was going to be taken in. He said that there was a delay of some sort with the car he was working on but that it would be soon. End of July, early August, Jason finally advised me that I could drop my car off to begin working on it. Weeks went by and still hadn’t heard anything. I gave him at least 2-3 weeks and I asked for another update. He said he did a few minor things to my car but hadn’t begun putting the procharger in. September came and went and now we are at the beginning of October (6 months later from my initial deposit) and still no work had been done. I advised Jason that I no longer want him doing the work and that I wanted my car and money back. He advised me that I could pick the car up the next day, but that he wouldn’t refund me the money because it was a “special order” for the procharger, and he didn’t need it for anything else. The owner of J & J Speed Shop (Jason) is a ***** and is shady.
