    The website stated that the brake conversion kit I ordered would fit a 1998 **** ******** ** ****** When I took the car to the auto shop, they started taking the car apart only to find that the conversion kit will not fit. I was charged 350 dollars and now that I want to return the kit, this company is charging me a 20% restocking fee for their own mistake and false advertising.
    What a crap business, and an American business at that! Very surprised to get very poor business 2 weeks before Christmas! If I paid the restocking fee it would cost in total almost 600 dollars for absolutely nothing.

    Slightly confused here as ***** is not the customer that we sold this to; his name is *****. That being said, per the attached emails and our refund policy we have been fair and upfront with him throughout this process. He has even stated that he has been pleased with how this has gone so far as well (stated in his email that is attached). Lastly that vehicle application and kit has been sold over 20+ times just in the last couple years without an issue. Our data has also confirmed that a 1998 **** ******** ***** only has one axle option (for fitment) that was offered from the manufacturer. If the vehicle was altered at any point (It must have been based on what the customer is sharing about the axle that they currently have) we were not made aware of it during the time of sale. Otherwise we would have told the customer it would potentially not fit their vehicle.  

    We have also stated to the customer that when we receive the products back if they are not damaged and in perfect condition (as when they were sold) we would work with them on the amount for the restocking fee.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 22636830, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. 


    The business sent me non-working calipers, brake pads and rotors.  They do not fit or work on my vehicle.  The vehicle VIN, year, model all was reviewed in advance of purchasing the kits, based on their customer service representative, and online literature.  It is not my responsibility to pay restocking fees, return shipping fees when they are the ones who sent defective product to me.  I paid $260.00 of my own money to send the defective products back.  There is no way to know if the products actually work without mounting and attempting to install product.  If they would have sent a correct replacement set, they wouldn't have been returned. They do not work and I demand a full refund.  I am not the one who shipped parts that do not work or fit on my vehicle. The parts were not damaged and returned in original packaging.  Any claim otherwise is false.  I demand a full refund. Attached in the email communication is their acknowledgement of incorrect parts, and misleading (hiding information-not stated) advertising of the fact that the rear's don't work with vehicles electronic parking brake, and the pictures show the front's are not correct parts.

    cle, year/model, and also reviewed even my wheel clearance in advance. The product does not work, and they are stealing my money on a product I've returned at my own cost. Throughout the communication, the customer service person continues to make false claims, excuses about the issues with fitment, and then refuses to refund my money.

    Attached you will find a copy of the confirmation showing that we did provide the client with a refund for the value of $1,988.90. This would be for the value of the unused items (rear kit) which has a cost of $1,151.40 and 50% of the value for the front kit as it was used $837.50. Per our refund policy that I have attached we also should have charged a 25% restocking fee on top (which we did not) which is $744.96 (restocking fee). We did however due to the fact that the caliper was already installed on the front kit and came back damaged from the customer, per our policy did not provide a full refund.
