    On June 12 I signed a contract with Atlantic Windows to replace the screens on my screened-in porch. I gave them a check for 50% deposit on the job. There were several dates made to do the work, but they claimed to have supply chain issues and never did show up. After several weeks of phone calls with this same story, they no longer respond to my phone messages.

    This company took a $500 deposit from us in March 2022, as a down payment on the repair of window hardware, the cranks that open the windows. They sent someone to our house to take photos and count the number of parts they needed to order. A month went by with no response, when we e-mailed we were told that the supplier lost our order, and the parts needed to be ordered again. Another month, then when we called we were told there were supply chain issues. A month after that, we couldnt reach anyone at the company by phone or e-mail, all the voice mailboxes were full. They seem to have disappeared, but so has our $500, at this point we would just like our deposit returned so we can hire another company that will do the job.

    In October of 2021, we were given a quote for a window repair from Atlantic Windows & Repairs LLC. I communicated with *********************** via email at ********************************************************************* to confirm that we would like to proceed, and on December 9, 2021, we paid a $950.00 deposit via Zelle to the owner - *************************** - at ************. ****** then emailed me a deposit receipt and said she would be in touch to set up a time for installation when she got word from their supplier that our window was ready. After more than six weeks passed, I reached out to inquire about the status of our window and was informed that they were still waiting for the supplier to obtain materials and that things were delayed due to the pandemic. I reached out to check in on the status on multiple other occasions, and was continually told they were still waiting on the supplier. But nine months have now passed, and they still have not completed the project or refunded our deposit. Worse yet, they have stopped responding to my inquiries and months have passed with no update. The last three emails we sent to *********************** (on 8/3/22, 8/9/22 & 8/17/22) were completely ignored. I also tried unsuccessfully several times to reach ****** via telephone at the two numbers which she provided ************* and ************), but both numbers went straight to voicemail, with a message stating that the mailbox is full and cannot accept new messages. I left a voicemail for the owner - *************************** - at ************ on 8/16/22, which has not been returned. And finally, we sent letters via regular mail on 8/17/22 to both *************************** - at ******************************************* - and to *********************** - at *********************************************************************, but received no response. At this point, it is clear that they have no intention of responding. We would like a refund of the $950 that they have stolen from us.
