      We had Black Ladder Contracting started June 2nd- from the very beginning Cameron Libby the owner told us 3 weeks to finish the basement. Here we are nearing the end of August and still have a list of things not finished (and PAID for) Cameron blames us for having him “take a week off” when he was supposed to be done before July 15th. Thus stating he had to start another job and has to finish before he comes back (yet he started another job on top of that one as well). He constantly has excuses for why he can’t show up. His truck was broken down, yet he had another truck on his current job site to use. He has a problem with “slander” and is very reactive, blows up on you if you voice concerns. A family member of ours commented on a post asking why he is doing other jobs without finishing ones he started. And he texted us accusing slander, which was the first communication we actually got in a while from him directly.
      The problem is he gives us the run around, telling us days he will be here and never shows, ignores our messages after reading them and blatantly lies to us. Not to mention we recommended him to our elderly grandparents to refinish their floor, he said simple easy job. That simple easy job ruined their whole floor- looks horrible and left dust everywhere. They constantly have tried to get in contact with him for a whole month to just look at the floor and he finally went over last week to look at the floor. Nothing since then. We gave him a chance after seeing how horrible his reviews were and told him from the beginning that we will not be screwed over.
      We have given him multiple chances to make it right and just SHOW UP. Here we are now 20,000 dollar plus project with work still not done and no word on him actually returning, we have all the paperwork every single bit of it and proof beyond measure. Just a warning for anyone wanting to use this guy, AVOID him. Lesson learned here.

      They did a awful job.. the floor is sinking...and it's not level..coming up in the living room...very disappointing for the money we paid to have it done...
