In March of 2022, Morrisons was paid $15,000 to complete waterproofing of the basement. Following the basement being completed by Morrison's we have found that the basement was still leaking. We also found that they removed all of the electrical from the basement, following a conversation, he assured us that would not happen. I have reached out to Morrison's on multiple occasions, via text and phone call. Mid April, they scheduled to come look at the basement and fix the problem as I was under warranty. They missed that appointment. At that point I called the office who advised me that I needed to contact the guy who I had been communicating with (I do not recall his name) which I did. Every week in March I reached out to find out when they would be out, being ignored 99% of the time. Mid June, they claimed they would be out again. Missing that appointment as well. Following that I began calling every week, never receiving a call back and eventually losing the ability to get through to voicemail. I eventually reached out Via Email and was supposed to have them come to the house to inspect the problem at 3pm on September 16th. Once again this meeting was missed. Our basement continues to flood with no water proofing!

Attached are images of the basement prior to Morrisons involvement, the work they did and the initial agreement.

The customer claims to have issues, 1 she didnt pay us a cent a grant program did and at final pay she had to sign off that she was content. Its been nearly a year, i get notice from grant company on 12th she had issue, reported calling my employee repeatedly, i have no idea but never did she call me the owner whos number is on contract, friday the 16th we attempted to go and had a fender bender at 345 she was notified and were still going she said no, we scheduled for today. Basement dusty dry, drylock on walls dry just old color bled through. She complained about electric removed well , there were entire walls removed, it wouldnt be safe to leave live wires exposed today we showed her where the wires now end safely in junction boxes per code requirements, so when ready to reinstall walls they are able to connect in. She said thank you thats all i wanted to know.  Fully content. If any further issues it would be beneficial to all to contact me on the number she magicly found today to confirm our apointment. I cant say either way if she ever talked to my employee or not bit he has been my main guy for 10 plus years with out 1 issue

      Business Response

BBB spoke to Warren, owner, at business and the following was relayed:

We were unable to keep the appointment on the 6th due to a car accident. We did show up on the 10th and the consumer was not there. We talked to and explained to her significant other that the termination point is in the junction box. We did not see any electrical safety issues and there was no water in the foundation. Our customer is ******* *** ******* who the contract is with and who payment was received from. The customer signed off several months ago that she was fully satisfied when the job was complete, which was required to receive full payment. We have returned as agreed and did not find any issues.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The appointment missed was in September for the car accident. The appointment on the 6th was missed due to flooding in the owners basement that he had to attend too. On the 10th nobody showed up. I have a ring doorbell that clearly shows only a mailman showing up on the 10th. Furthermore, there was never a moment that somebody was not at my house on the 10th. Also if that were true, why was that not relayed in the call made on the 10th to find out where you were?  We have already discussed everything about the meeting Ken came too. You are currently going back on your word. There is a live wire in my basement. There is an attached picture. That is not a completion of job. I did not sign anything. The grant company did. And as previously stated, How would I know about the leaking still occurring in the middle of a drought.  The grant company has been informed as well as New York States Attorney General.

      Regards,
