    Better off doing it yourself. Contracted them to paint a two story deck for us and we had to come back, scrape all the dirt and debris out from underneath their paint and repaint everything because they just did a half assed job. Had other contracts with them and they never showed up to our appointments so I went with a different company. Not recommending their company to anyone else ever again.

    Deckers Painting was recommended to me by a highly rated construction company. I first and foremost want to say that they initially did an overall good job on repairing damaged wood and painting. The biggest complaint is that the lack of communication has been horrific. Before the job was done, we had set a date and a family emergency happened on their end. I completely understand that life happens, but there was no communication. I had to call them to see why they didn’t show up. A simple text message would have sufficed. This happened again when the carpenter didn’t show up and again when the weather was bad. Each time, I had to reach out and call. If you own a business, you need to be communicative with your customers. After the job was finally done, we called back because we noticed a few spots that needed touching up, which, in the contract, stated that there was a ten day time frame for reporting it. We called and texted without a response. Finally, we got ahold of them and they gave us two dates that were possible. They did not show either day. I’ve been continuously calling and leaving messages without any response back. So now, after paying over a thousand dollars for their work, I still do not have done what’s needed to be done. It’s completely unacceptable.
