    A Concrete company took funds in the form of 2 checks one from me and one from my husband on 6-24-24 made out to Chris C****** owner of Finishing Touch Renovations. Cashed that same day. They were to start on July 15 2024. They stalled start date until August 2 due to machinery issues and I had surgery Aug 1. In trying to contact the owner he answered a couple times with more excuses then stopped returning calls and texts. His co partner, Trevor, led me to believe he was having personal problems but would be available. I was given a cell number for his mother and she said he had gone off on a bender and she could not get him home nor would she go into Rochester to find him. He is suppose to be in a rehab center and cannot be contacted. I now can not get a response from his co partner Trevor ( I do not know his last name). Nor his mother. I will be going to the police to see what I can do. I contacted an attorney who seems to think it is more bother than worth. We are retired. It may not be worth 8750. To some but to others it can be huge. This isn’t right and if nothing else I want Chris C****** to be unable to do this to others. He has operated under *** *** ******** ** ** *********** **** ** and ******* ******** back in 2013. I have no idea if this is a complete scam as they give no full names maybe by design maybe not. I happened to know Mr C****** from a past encounter unrelated to his profession. I may be contacted at my cell ###-###-####.
