The business had a boat for sale for $6000, and I was interested in it. I left my name and number and asked if they could put it in the water for me to test run. A week went by and I never heard from them. When I stopped in to see the salesman, I noticed the boat was now $9000!
I did my homework on this boat and ** ****** valued it at around $5000.
Very poor business practice, I wouldn't recommend anyone doing business with them.

On August 22, 2022, Mr. ******* brought in his 70-80's ******* boat for some repairs. The customer had rebuilt his own carbs and installed his own impeller. He sated that now it wouldn't pump water. Also, his rev limiter had been disconnected. He had loose wiring which kept blowing the 20 amp fuse. The customer was advised that his gearcase is counter rotation and that it only turns 4300 RPM, it is over-propped. It has a 21" pitch and needs a 17". Our Tech also charged the cooling system and eliminated the water valve. He stated that the motor was not in good shape. The customer was charged $866.00 which included parts, labor and taxes.
Mr. ******* brought his boat back in on 8/2/2023. The customer stated that it runs up to 2500 rpm's, but when you go above that, it coughs and chokes out. The upper 2 cylinders (Starboard side) appeared to be wet. Our service tech took Mr. ******* for a test run on the boat, that Mr. ******* requested. The only way to get it on plane was to trim the motor all the way up until it started slipping. Once on plane, the engine ran up to 4200-4500 RPM with no skipping or dying out. The tech states that the prop seems much to large a pitch for the boat (1/4 1/2 x 21"). He also stated the he expects that the prop needed to be a 17" or 19" pitch at best. The customer was charged $324.00, an hour for labor and two haul and launches. (One for the test drive.)
