    I purchased refrigerator filters from ******************************************** on 9/21/23. I paid using a PayPal credit card. The company on that web site says: Contact ************************ Bella Telephone: ****************** Email: **************************************** Address: ****** Hillside ****************************************************** When I received the email that the order had been shipped, I saw it was coming from *****, not ********. I don't know what was shipped. I haven't received anything yet. I wrote to their contact email that I was upset about their scam and they offered 80% refund. They said they would not accept returns. I got an email on 9/26/23 that they would send the refund. On 9/28 they claimed to have sent it. But it did not arrive.I contacted them again 10/4/23. They said they had no information about my order. I sent them back their shipping notice. On 10/5/23, they again said they had processed the refund.There is no refund. They are a fraudulent company and I don't know if the brick and mortar shop is aware of this scam or part of it. The name of the business that took my money is called "Add meaning to your life" and ??????????????.

    Hillside Hardware Plumbing Electrical & Supplies is not associated with Hillside Filter. We have tried to contact them many times regarding the incorrect contact information on their website. We have also put a update on ****** Business saying that "we are not affiliated with Hillside Filters in any way" and to stop using the Hillside Filters website. We also advise any customer who contacts us regarding ********************** Filter to contact their credit card company regarding getting a full refund. If there is anything else that we can do to report these scammers, feel free to let us know. Thank You

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved. I also am very angry on the behalf of this company which is the biggest victim of this scam.

    On 8/30/23 I Ordered a GE water filter replacement, I received the water filter but when installed it repeatedly gave a water leaking warning. I emailed the company and they said I had to remove the chip from the original filter and place it on the replacement filter. The original chip is impossible to remove without damaging it. No where in their site did it say that the replacement filter does not have a chip in order for it to work and that the old one would have to be removed. They have offered an 80% refund but I would like a full refund. I have attempted several times to contact them by phone, even leaving a voicemail as per their return policy, but I havent received a response.
