    Date of service: 8/27/2024 Employee broke microwave door off while cleaning, and company refused to pay for damages. I was 9 months pregnant at the time this happened and almost got injured opening my microwave after they left my home. I am now home with a newborn and still have a broken microwave.

    I hired Merry Maids to clean my tenant's apartment on July 6 with a team of 3. They pulled the ***** on a hallway carpet with their vacuum, exhaust fan is full of grease and they broke a slat on a mini blind in the kitchen. I found the broken piece in my front garden. It matches the blind in the kitchen. As far as cleaning is concerned, they had to come back a 2nd time on July 12 with another team of 3. There is still soap scum on the bathroom tiles and shower doors, there is dirt on the ******** and the kitchen cabinets still have grease on them. They were quick tempered to me when I pointed it out to them and they said they cleaned those areas. The kitchen cabinets are gummy and their is still dirt on the ********. I called Merry Maids several times and either they don't pick up the phone or return my phone calls. I called the corporate office and they stated that they can't do anything. Then I finally got thru with the Merry Maids local office and they said the same thing that they can't do anything. After my former tenants vacated the apartment, I checked everything. The blind was not broken and the ***** on the rug was not pulled. This is not customer satisfaction quaranteed. I would like to have a supervisor from Merry Maids to come and see for themselves. I paid $734.91 and the job was totally unsatisfactory. I would like this issue to be rectified. I can't have the kitchen cabinets and ******** painted until it is thoroughly cleaned and I would be embarrassed to have a new tenant move into the apartment with soap scum build-up.
