On May 4, 2024, my spouse and I purchased a vehicle from Audi Queens (see invoice dated 5/4/2024). Subsequent to the purchase, we realized that there was a Veterans Rebate in the amount of $1000.00 we were eligible for but wasn't informed by the dealership so I applied to receive the promo code and received one on 5/5/2024 (See Gmail - Your Military Promo Code from Audi (1).pdf). After exchanging a few text messages with our sales person, my spouse and I were told that this code only applied at the time of purchase and we were basically out of luck. I decided to take my case to the General Manager of Audi Queens pointing out that the fine print doesn't say this, it says "at time of visit" which can probably be at anytime before, during, after purchase (See email May 10, 2024 from **** to MHall (its an image because the printout wouldn't fit the date)). Subsequent e-mail exchanges from May 13 - May 29 dealt with the administrative steps the dealership was taking to get my rebate. However subsequent to May 29, 2024 I received no further updates and my emails have gone without being responded to by the General Manager. I want to ensure I receive this rebate ($1,000.00). I will also be looking out for potentially unnecessary and costly services from this dealership when my vehicle is due for service since I paid for a prepaid service contract (4 years). It is also notable that if you look at the Consent Form and the Rebate, the dealership noted that I already received a $4,000.00 discount to the purchase of the vehicle when I paid MSRP along with the trade in value of the vehicle (seems a bit shady to me).

We purchased a 2017 Audi TT Coupe 20T ************** color with VIN# **************** and odometer reading of ***** from Audi Queens on 05/27/2023. The vehicle stopped near our residence on Friday, June 9, around 9am while at a traffic light on a local highway. Fuel gauge showed around a 1/4 tank with 119 miles left. Since the vehicle was in the middle of the road affecting traffic, we had to call 911. The cops helped move the vehicle to the side lane and the car was towed to *****'s auto body shop near our place - cost of towing was 175$.*****'s took a few days to diagnose the problem and charged us $364.55 for diagnosing the problem as a Gas Gauge not working - PFA the receipt from *****'s.We took the vehicle to Audi Queens who still have the vehicle and are charging us around $875 for fixing the fuel gauge sensor. We hope that Audi Queens service leadership contacts us about the problem with the car and help pay for the repair of the same.

    Business Response

    Date: 02/20/2024

I have no record of the vehicle coming back to the dealership.

The last repair was done 4/28/23 and this was a for a New Fuel Level Sensor and a new windshield.

But this repair was done before the customer bought the car.

    Thanks
