    in talkign to someoone at the store i found out that they where a ******* service center so i went got got my genarator and droped it off for warranty they got ahold off me about 2 weeks later after thery told me it would take a about 2 weeks to fix . they called me to tell em they needed proof of purchase when in my opinion they have no right to ask me when i have alrdy given ******** everything they needed and i had a case open with ******** for it to go there .. so after fighting with true value about this i emailed them what they wanted just for for them to tell me they are not a ******** service center.... they still have my genarator expect it to be fixed or re-placed thwt where a servic center when i droped if off and if they would have fixed it like they told be would be no problem in 2 weeks then there would be no problems if they do not do anything i will be filing with the court i would like this complant to be on ******** too bec it it up to both of the companys to figger put who and how they are going to fix my genarator that was under warranty when i droped it off to be fixed

    On June 14, 2023 the owner dropped off a generator for repair.  At that time he was instructed that he would need to provide some proof of purchase to initiate a warranty repair.  The unit was not purchased from our business.  On June 16,2023  we attempted to contact the owner and we received a message that his mailbox was full.  On June 22,2023 I spoke to the owner over the phone and advised him that we would need some proof of purchase to start a claim.  He become very agitated and stated he could not drive down with the receipt.  I provided my email to help him facilitate providing his proof of purchase.  He continued on and stated he wanted no work done and he would pick the unit up.   On September 6,2023 I received an email containing a receipt for his purchase.  The email was from someone claiming to have power of attorney for the owner.  I advised him that we were no longer providing warranty service for *******.  He advised me to contact the owner at a different number and  work something out.  I attempted to contact the owner twice, once on that day September 6,2023 and once again on September 20,2023 both times leaving a message. Since receiving this complaint, I have once again called a new number provided with the complaint and left a message.
