On December 21 2023 group members of the church went to Aviatours travel agency asking for our money back. We all Paid for a trip to ****** for December 5 to 12, 2023 paid in full by all members who were going on the trip. It's a group from church who was going on this trip and it was canceled due to the war in ****** and we have been trying since November 2023 to get back our money from the travel agency they do not pick up the phone and do not want to give money back. We told them they are committing fraud and it's not our fault that the airline canceled and there is a war in ******. We all want our money back the total is $3, 366 everyone gave that amount for the trip. They want to deducted $575 due to a handling fee that we were never told about. She said the handling fee is because we are not going on the trip to ****** we told them what does that have to do with us having to pay for a handling fee because we are not going to the ****** trip. At this point everyone is scared to travel to ****** and have no further plans on traveling to ****** for now. The lady ******************* said how they need to get paid. We told them it's not our responsibility to pay for a handling fee if we did not canceled the trip. I am filing this claim with the BBB to investigate this travel agency because they are committing fraud. Please contact me at ************ with any further questions you may have. The group including myself are all willing to go to the news and report them publicly.

On July 26, 2023 I sent a deposit in the amount of $300.00 to reserve a trip to ****** and ***** on Dec ****, 2023. On August 23rd., I made the last payment in the amount of $2599.00 as a final payment for the above mentioned trip. Due to the events in ******, I received an email from my airlines, Delta, letting me know that all flights to ******** were canceled. Aviatours sent an email to all the travelers that the events happening in ****** were common, we would be safe in our tour, and our scheduled trip was still active. The travel agency offered and alternative trip to ***** and ****** for the same dates. We were 4 travelers (women) and we didn't think traveling to the war area was safe for us in any *********** countries during this time of war strife. We sent emails to the owner, who still refuses to call us back or send and email to us. We just received emails from the customer service person, *************************, who advised us that we were going to loose $575.00 because we canceled the trip, and from that we had a credit of $250.00 for a future trip until Dec. ****, and because the way they were handling these issues, we are not planning to travel with them ever.
