Approximately one week ago, I visited Finger Lakes Juice Bar. After purchasing two items totaling $18.20, I asked the owner if I could bring in my portable battery power station to charge and he said yes. But as soon as I brought it in, the owner yelled at me in front of other customers, stating that he didn't know if it would spike his electric bill. I decided to leave and I was also disappointed that both my fresh pressed juice and shake were chunky (with pieces of banana, carrot, apple, and beet), but I didn't feel comfortable saying anything after the behavior of the owner towards me. Looking at other reviews, this is not the first time that customers have complained about the owner's rude behavior. I wrote a review on ****** detailing my experience, and the owner replied a couple of days later. He chastised me for leaving a negative review, accused me of lying about my drinks being chunky, and he downplayed his harsh behavior. He also states that he issued me a refund. However, I have checked my bank account a few times in the past several days and it is not showing any refund or pending refund for my purchase. I have an issue with him lying about refunding me, and if he said that he refunded me, then I want a refund. I have included screenshots of my bank account that shows the $18.20 purchase transaction on 9/9, and also shows that there has been no refund transaction on the purchase. I also included screenshots of the owner's response to my review where he states that he issued me a refund.

Response taken by phone:  The item was not returned and we would need the item returned and also need to swipe card in order to issue a refund.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

The business owner is changing his story yet again. Why did he write in his response to my ****** review that he had refunded me if in fact, as he now states, he needs the item returned (which is not possible because it was a perishable food item) and the card I used to purchase? If he needed those items to issue a refund, why is he publicly stating on ****** that he refunded me? At the very least, the owner should edit his response on my ****** review stating that he refunded me, when he in fact, did not. He's obviously giving a very response to the BBB that he knows will not enable me to get a refund. I will be updating my ****** review to include having to get the BBB involved with this issue.

    Regards,

    ******* ******
