  If I could give it half a star I would..there are very few people who are pleasant to residents. They never comply with her dietary restrictions, nothing gets done. I made a complaint about said aide and he's still doing what he does. My mother is there because I can not give her the help she needs, and from what others have said their parents aren't either. They have screwed up her meds more than once, I contacted the primary care doctor and they sent in all of her orders. The administrative staff and nursing supervisors love to gang up on family members..there is so much wrong here they need a clean out. Oh and don't forget the staff who violate their own policies and the privacy of their residents...my mothers camera caught the executive administrator taking a picture in my mothers room of a camera she requested be put in her room for her peace of mind and ours, not an issue as it was her own dwelling, like putting a security camera in your own home. If you care about your loved ones, put a camera in, but don't sign the paperwork either..they will be signing away privacy and rights.

  I have a relative there that is bed ridden and has fallen out of her bed 3 times. She lays there yelling for help, but no one comes For HOURs on end. She is not showered, not fed appropriately, and does not receive drinks as she should. She constantly is terrified of the staff. One staff member physically assaulted her in front of other staff. It turned out that the staff that did this is known for this and had been moved around to different areas when complaints come in. Severe neglect is the only description for this facility. Severe. Administration does not handle complaints timely or effectively. Most of the time the phones go unanswered for days at a time. We are up there daily and are not able to get time with doctors, administration, or the social worker. A care plan was not in place and once we addressed that, after several attempts, one was created…. But NEVER followed. It is heartbreaking what has come of this home but even more heartbreaking that so many seniors are severely suffering.
