Lumber company refuses to refund total amount; waiting since October, for rest of $ due me! Feel they treat women inferior to men. They have stopped talking and cut off all communication. They talk as now I have to wait until Spring 2025 to Fall 2025 to receive a mere $41.11 or maybe never will receive. Received 2 refunds (5 caps each). They owe for 11 more post caps for senior disable ramp. Post caps mis-labelled by Barrette Outdoor Living, Ohio. Never called, no email, never tries to correct their mistake from day one. Had 2 choices find someone I can sell to or keep and lose $78.47. Continued next page

    Regards,

    ********* ******

I am NOT accepting their response(s) over this matter. They are taking the easy way out of trying not to issue a small check for the last 11 remaining. As stated in documents already in the hands of BBB, I have proven that Kingsboro Lumber ordered 21 post caps wrong in the first place, well over 3 months ago, Sept. 12, 2024. I do not wish to repeat myself time and time again. What I have sent by mail to BBB shows and proves I did not agree to the wrong style caps. My contractor returned them and his visual sighting, "they sit on the floor in this person's office at Kingsboro". They accepted what my contractor returned and now they say differently? They have done nothing to satisfy this customer in contacting their distributor where they purchased the caps from, the manufacturer of such caps or anyone else to resolve their mistake, from day one. I told them exactly the style I wanted for my home and they did not order them correctly. It is their mistake and their mistake only. They never called, emailed me and said wrong style came in; you wouldn't be satisfied with these. Please come in and take a look. Never said, let's correct the issue but informing me I would have to pay a higher cost or the difference. I had to place another separate order to get the correct caps. "Told you're stuck with 21 and find someone else to take them off my hands". They did nothing and still refuse to issue a check now in the amount of $41.11 to wipe this issue off their financial books. They are dragging this matter out. They are taking the easy way out with their verbal comment. I am NOT at all satisfied with their response and their unfair business practices, towards a disabled senior woman. I wish the BBB to pursue this matter anyway they can.
