    I don't know if your office can help me but I am writing every office possible to seek help. A towing company, Reliable towing in goveneur NY,we called by state police on Saturday at 2:33 pm to tow my car 11 miles. I went to retrieve my vehicle on Monday(first day they were open)and was presented with a 1000$ bill. According to my law,I cannot be charged more then 177$ I need my car for work and for my twin sons. Please help.

    Received a call from the business and this was relayed:I have a contract with the NYS state police and in this instance they called me due to them not allowing him to drive the vehicle. The police advised me that he did not have a valid driver's license,  care was not titled to him,no NYS inspection, no valid insurance and no registration.  This consumer was irate at the scene and at y place of business.  When he original came to pick up on Monday, I told him I would drop the storage fees and he could pay $953.53, he declined.  After 20 days on storage fees, the balance owed is $2875.53.  I will still honor my original offer of $955.53 if he can pay for the car now, it will be released to him.  He gave me the title to the vehicle and if he does not come and get it, it will be sold.
