    On 8/18 I received a text from a manager of the storage facility I was renting at. They said I didn't have a lock on my unit and I needed to get one as soon as possible. My wife went to the unit to check it out and found out unit had been broken into. The lock area was damaged and part of our lock was on the ground. My brand new snowboard and my wife's backpack full of gear from her winter mountain job were stolen. We contacted this manager back and she said she would send the security footage on Monday. It is now Tuesday and the police have still not received anything.
    These people are hindering the investigation and the criminals get further away with our things.
    We are not the only people in this situation who have been robbed and the owners are refusing to help at all.

    The Occupant signed a contract for storage space #26. Clearly stated in #10 of this contract are
    the insurance obligations of the Occupant and not the Owner. To my knowledge, the Occupant
    failed to obtain any insurance. Therefore, the complaint of any theft that may have occurred, is
    not the responsibility of the Owner.
    I have attached a copy of the contract between the Owner and the Occupant for your review.
