      Went to an Opthmolgist named ** ****** at F**** ****** ******** ******* practice about catarct ************************* a followup up appointment, it was announced that *** ******* left the practice.Met with his replacement *** ********************** and scheduled a cataract surgery with him.After thinking about this further I started feeling uncomforatble about doing such a sensitive surgery on my eye with *** ********************** and canceled the surgery.This occurred in October of 2024. Since November I called this practice for my refund of $4,824.25....... 11 x's.Wrote a letter to them last week and have only been told someone will look into this, but I have not been responded to ever since early Novemeber when i began requesting my refund.Seeking $4,824.25 refund they are holding since October.

      The fee that the patient is requesting returned was for medical care provided to him.  No refund due and actually there is a balance due from him on his account.  This has been explained to this person.  Due to Hipaa regulations, we are unable to provide any additional information.

      Better Business Bureau:

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

      F**** ****** ******** *******'s response to my refund claim is incorrect and strongly rejected.

      In October of 2024 I paid $4,203.25 for a catarct surgery.

      I never had that surgery and cancelled it before it was to take place.

      An additional $621.00 in pre-surgery medical costs was also paid to this practice.

      After 13 calls and emails about this refund since early November, no one has ever responded to me.

      I am seeking a refund for $4,203.25 which is what was collected from me for their cataract surgery, but it never took place.

      To be clear, this charge was for nothing other than for a Cataract Surgery which was cancelled.
